Particularly the following terms: "mitral regurgitation", "celiac artery stenosis", "arterial septal defect", "hepetocellular carcinoma". This is to help a friend who received a letter from his hospital containing these terms. He suffers from cirrhosis of the liver and hepatitis C.

I know a few of these terms, you can go to merck.com, there is a section for Drs and a section for home. That may be of some help. The term mitral regurgitation means the mitral valve on the heart is allowing blood to pass back through after it closes. hepetocellular carcinoma I think means cancer of the liver cells, you would definately want to double check on all of these to be 100% sure. You could also call his doctor and have him explain everything to you completely. Good Luck, GOD BLESS!

I really find this website to be a lot of help. Type each of those terms (one at a time) into the search box and check out several of the articles (links) that it gives you. Many of the search results that come up have very easy to read definitions of terms

Good luck

There may well be such a site, but I have always found that just by typing each one of your medical terms into your main search engine, you will pull up a full and easy to understand break down, try it.

Look for a medical glossary. That's your best bet.
