I seriously think that my voice sucks over the phone. I live in Canada, and have a strong accent, which in not bad in person;however, on the phone it sucks and turns away many people:(Now i wanna callk this girl ( instead of emailing her- too impersonal) any suggestions???

You should never change yourself to try to please anyone.
If she likes you, she'll learn to live with how your voice sounds. It may not even be an issue for her at all. If that's the case, you're making yourself a headcase for nothing!

Man, I'm from Arkansas. People make fun of my accent all the time. I can't let it stop me form expressing myself, and living my life. Neither should you.

Just remember, be yourself. She's gotta like you for you or not at all.

If this is seriously affecting you, I would try to use one of those microphones that changes your voice but if this is to start a relationship with someone, you should be honest from the start and talk normally.

So you have an accent, a lot of people do. Some people like people just for their accents. Be a proud Canadian eh!
