Well I had a blood test I forgot about they called me and rushed me in but I already eatn and took an anxiety pill will that effect the results

I assume you are asking about tumor markers. Eating and taking anti-anxiety medication beforehand wil not affect these tests.

Not at all. The cancer blood test is none fasting. I just went through the treatment this yr. If fact it is a good idea to drink a few good size glasses of water before, & before you go for chemo treatment, if that is in the picture. The water hydrates your body & puffs up the veins make them easier to acsess. I have small veins & often have trouble with iv's or blood test, they told me to do this.

No, food shouldn't have any effect on the cancer cell markers found in your blood.

I know of no cancer blood test. Whatever you had, I doubt it will affect the results.
The question said blood test, not therapy.

not if they are testing for cancer...it might affect the results if they are testing for other stuff. they will ask you if you have eaten before the test if it will affect it.

no it will not affect the results.
They usually want you NPO(nothing by mouth) incase something shows up so they could do procedures on you .
