Ground Zero.(MUST SEE!)
It's near Wall Street( It's a business trip no?), Chinatown (grab some lunch), Statue of Liberty(after lunch take a short trip on a boat), Visit city hall, walk halfway across the brooklyn bridge and back, have dinner at Little Italy, You can do all of that in less than a day.
Midtown is more for shopping, You dont want to show your boss that he's paying you too much:)
Central Park is great but winter is coming and leaves will be gone.
Upper manhattan is more residential/ museums.

It really depends on what you like!
Although at that time of year, the best things to do would be to see the Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center, look at the store windows on 5th Avenue and at Macy's and/or Bloomingdales.
You can go ice skating in Central Park or Rockefeller Center. The nice thing about Central Park's Wollman Rink is that you can skate for as long as you want, they don't make you leave after a certain time, or when they clean the ice.
The most important thing is that if you are a big group - plan ahead of time for where you want to stop and eat. Showing up at a restaurant when you are all starving and want to eat NOW becomes a little problematic with big groups. But if you have reservations, or have a least called ahead, your wait will be shorter.

DO NOT go to the hard rock cafe so touristy, lame. Rockefeller center in the holidays is nice, but crowded, be prepared to split up , throw elbows and meet later. See a play. Circle line tour of NY harbor will show you everything, statue of liberty ,etc .

The East River. More bodies buried there than Forest Lawn.
