The last two days a bunch of red dots have showed up on my hands. They kinda look like ant and flea bites but I know there not. There only on my hands and they itch really bad could anyone tell me what is wrong and what I could do about it? I'm going to the doctor tomorrow.

Maybe it's hives. That would be an allergic reaction to something you ate or touched.

It kind of depends on where on your hands the rash is. If it is in the web of your fingers it could be scabies. Don't panic - since you're going to the doctor anyway he will prescribe medication and tell you what to do. It could also just be an allergic reaction to something, in which case a soothing topical cream (Benadryl for example) will ease the itching. But you will need to find out what caused it. Have you been doing yard work or hanging around in the woods? It could be poison ivy. Whatever it is - keep your hands away from your face or anyone else for that matter until you see the doctor.

This could be a contact dermatitis, or could be dehydriatric eczema, which I had, and it started as small red dots that itched, they got thru a process, where it stats to look like tapioca, then they dry out and peel, leaving bleeding and lots of cracking, it comes and goes. But that may not be the case with you.

best answered by the doctor, unless you like the agony of thinking about every possible cause some one may think it is.
