You may like to try some of the online programmes that allow you to work at home. They do require either a one-time payment or a monthly subscription.
I'm not exactly sure if they're scams or not, but I guess it's worth a try if u really want to make some money in a short amount of time. I would have tried, if not for the fact that I'm still a student and do not have extra money for such progs.

On the other hand, try getting yourself into some network marketing company available in your country. Where I come from, some such companies actually have quite good compensation plans/schemes.

Don't simply do chores. If you are serious about money, make it regularly by going out and getting a part-time job. Your wallet will definitely thank you.
