I would like to have satelite tv, because of its price, however, dont' want to install recivers in each room, is there an instrument that would allow to change channels on each tv without installing a receiver in each room?

I had dishnetwork and I only had one receiver for two t.v.'s. Everything operated seperately. There was no interference between the two because of what you were doing in the other room. If I was recording on one tv, it didn't affect me watching something else on a different channel, on the other tv. Hope this answers your question.

I believe there is, I think the technology change was very recent. We have Direct TV and love it. I recommend calling them and asking. Good luck!

not with Direct tv, you need a reciever in each room unless you split it, which then everyone has to watch what is on the main tv, with the reciever.
