I found the recipe for chicken fried rice from beni hana. I just had chicken yesterday for dinner and I don't want that as the main course again. I don't have steak, but I have pork chops and hamburger. Please help me find something to make along with the chicken fried rice that will compliment it.

MOO SHU PORK
A little pork goes a long way in this Chinese dinner. Chicken breast can be used as a substitute for the pork. Chinese crepes are available frozen in most Asian markets, but easy-to-find tortillas work, too.

6 ounces lean boneless pork loin chops, cut into 1/4-inch-thick strips, well trimmed
1/2 small onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons minced peeled fresh ginger
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups thinly sliced bok choy
1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
5 large mushrooms, cut into matchstick-size strips
2 cups bean sprouts
2 tablespoons sake
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce*
1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
4 8-inch-diameter flour tortillas or frozen Chinese crepes, thawed
*Hoisin sauce is available at Southeast Asian markets and specialty foods stores.

Preheat oven to 325°F. Heat wok or heavy large skillet over high heat until very hot. Add first 4 ingredients and stir-fry until pork is brown and onion is tender, about 5 minutes. Mix in bok choy, red bell pepper and mushrooms and stir-fry until red bell pepper is just crisp-tender, about 5 minutes. Add bean sprouts, sake, hoisin and soy sauce and stir-fry until bean sprouts are crisp-tender, about 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, wrap tortillas or crepes in foil. Place in oven to warm, about 8 minutes. Divide pork mixture among tortillas and roll up to enclose pork mixture. Serve immediately.

The pork chops would be perfect! In fact, I would cut them off of the bone and into strips, and either bread and deep fry them, or saute them and mix them in the rice. Frozen green peas are an excellent veggie to mix in as well. Don't use canned though, as they would be too mushy by the time your dish is ready to serve. Enjoy and God bless!

cube the pork and fry it with the rice...and then stir fry some veggies such as snow peas, mini corn, carrots, water chestnuts, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, bell peppers, etc in a pan all together and then either serve the rice and pork with the veggies on top, or separate. oh, and stir fry the veggies with some type of teryaki sauce

Use your hamburger and make some form of a mexican tortilla, have like a mexican night. I suggest cooking the hamburger liek you would make a reg. tortilla, then get out some sour cream and some cheese and put it on the table and have a mexican dinner!! (guacamole or refried beans would be good with the dinner also)
