The morning after a night of drunken sex the guy gets up and says " I have to go to a meeting, stay here and sleep, I will be back", was he running or did he really mean for me to stay?

It was a few years ago but now we see each other through a group of friends, it feels weird. I was at his house with no car, he was nice, we were friends before that night and I honestly can't remember how I go home or if I stayed. I don't know if I should say something to him now, or ask him what happened so it won't feel so weird.

I think that if he was going to blow you off, he would have said, "I gotta go, stay as long as you want, I'll talk to you later." or something like that. "Stay here" implies that it might be a little more than just sex. Did you stay? Are you stil there? LOL. Odds are though, a night of drunken sex is just a night of drunken sex, nothing more.

Well, did you stay and find out?
Depending on how lucid you were, the time, tone of voice and his body language would likely give you the answer. However, unless he was really out of it, a guy does not normally try to ditch you by telling you to stay at his place.

the fact that he asked you to stay and sleep is a better sign then him saying...you have to leave b./c i also have to leave...he let you stay in his house by urself....he is gotta come back to his own house..so he wasnt really trying to blow you off...and it was just one night of DRUNKEN sex....so...you guys should talk or you can just leave it at that

Bad situation! The perosn has escaped after full night enjoyment and now you keep on waiting for him. Now if some thing happens then you have to bear yourself.

remember this phrase: An awkward morning is the sign of a great night. We call that a one night stand

Did you have sex with him a few years ago (meaning less than 8) while you are married?

Yes, but he was trying to be nice about it...... He was saying "Last night was great, but now its over and I'm stepping out and will gone for a long time and I expect you to be gone when I get back"....
