Li-lac Flowers in the Spring are very rememberable to me, but not delicious! I really like the smell of vanilla boiling in a little pot on the woodstove, everyone that visits thinks theres some fresh baked goods somewhere in the house everytime.

Vanilla.

Or, really rich coffee is also good.

Bacon used to be on the list, but my wife was on a low carb diet for awhile and the smell of bacon every morning began to get on my nerves.

I have to join the choir and say Herbal Essences's Rose Hips shampoo and conditioner. (I think it's now called "for color treated / damaged hair" shampoo and conditioner.) It smells like you've been walking in a citrus and rose garden! I even use it on my body cause it smells so good!

I have two that are tied for first place in this category. Fresh baking bread is one. The other is cotton seed oil as it's being pressed out of the cotton seeds at the gin. That's much more illusive and doesn't have anything edible at the end of the process, but it sure does smell good!

I actually read this somewhere the other day. They say the most popular smell world wide is coffee. For me it has to be fresh bread cooking.

That hot butter smell that comes with stuff like pancakes. Like sweet things with that salty butter taste. Syrup and Butter. I do love pancakes.
