It's the provicial capital, it also has a large harbour. I'd say it's main industries were maritime in nature: shipping goods, fisheries etc.
It's aslo a beautiful city.

I would say it's more political than agricultural, as it is the provincial capital. But it's also a great party city. Not to mention a great musical city and also a city that is quite popular in the film industry. It's also a friendly city, a beautiful city, a clean and environmentally friendly city. All in all it's a great place to be!

Neither- Halifax is a small-to-medium sized metropolitan city. It's the capital of the province of Nova Scotia, so I guess that makes it "political".
