I mean, with Tea it's easy, but with Coffee there's either crappy Instant or all that faffing around with filters and machinery...

In the absence of Coffee Bags, I'm just making it like instant and trying not to swallow the grounds at the bottom of the cup.

What do you guys do?

Lyons Coffee Bags are designed to be used just like tea bags, all you need is a kettle and a cup! Making roast ground coffee has never been simpler - no machine required - just add hot water

Coffee bags are available as many people have said. But coffee or tea bags are poor quality.

Simply letting the grounds sink and trying not to drink them is probably the oldest method of coffee drinking. It is called coffee toebroek, (spelling varies).

There are coffee bags actually. I got a bunch in a gift-set when I went to college. You just heat up water, dip it in, let it settle (according to the strength you want in your coffee) then add what you want (milk/sugar) and you're set. They're not the greatest in the world, but they're not the worst thing either.

The kind I got I believe was caled "Singlebrew" and it came in different flavors like Colombian & French Vanilla

You can get coffee bags. Lyons coffee bags are very nice though you need 2 for a mug of coffee.

Hi!

They do do coffee bags!!

Sorry I can't tell you who, but my Gran used them all the time, and she passed away 7 years ago. Not as a result of using the coffee bags I might add!!

I can remember when she used to make me a coffee with them, I thought they were dead posh!! Especially when she used to serve them with Marks and Spencer cakes!! Yummy!!!

Thanks for that unexpected trip down Memory Lane!!

Oh contrair my friend, they do. You use it like a tea bag, I beleive Folgers has it out, that's the only one I'm aware of. You might take another look in you supermarket the next time you go shopping. It's been awhile since I bought them, though.

They do. But if you can't find them try making coffee in a jug and using a coffee strainer.
Coffee does NOT dissolve, if it did you wouldn't be able to make Turkish coffee. By the way, in Turkey they read coffee dregs, not tea leaves.

In the UK we have these little plastic pots that have the coffee in a bag in the bottom. All you do is place the pot on the cup, pour the hot water in and leave for a couple of mins. Expensive but handy if you need a quick fix.

Douwe Egberts make them as well but their site is pants
