I understand they can grow back if they were taken out at an early age. Never be afraid to ask your doctor a question for fear of appearing stupid. It's a much better idea to find out the answers you need by asking. Plus, he/she can help you better if they know what's on your mind. If a doctor ever laughs at you for asking a serious question, you need to find another doctor.

It is possible for tonsils to partially grow back. In a procedure called a tonsillectomy, most of the tonsils are removed. However, if some tissue remains, tonsils can sometimes regenerate — although they probably won't grow back completely or to their original size.

Yes,
Tonsils can grow back if some of the tissue remained from the original set. My mother had to have hers removed a second time. I was at an ENT doctor this weekend with a child and the subject came up again.

Know the asteroid wellhead tonsil stones them for many years and it's been title not eventually.

Best decision I've ever made! I was shocked by the way of getting out the stones out. It was so easy, but more importantly, painless. I really liked the little trick he had for preventing gag reflex. He have one happy customer here.

yes tonsils can grow back. i thought they couldnt until i saw that episode of seinfeld were george's grows back. i looked it up and found out that if trace amounts of tissue is left behind, the tonsils might grow back. although, it is unlikely they will grow back to their original size.

No, they can't grow back but you can still get infections in your throat without tonsils. Go to the doctor and tell him you have been experiencing pain.
