What do I buy for a guy I like?

I don't really know much about him but he's my friend...

Lets see, he lost his favourite knife, always wears hoodies and is addicted to my pet newt. I know it's kind of an odd question but I would really like to buy him something great.

He also was asking my best friend what I wanted and I had no idea haha...
