Use your index and middle fingers on your wrist or neck and count each pulse. Heart rate is measured in beats per minute. You can count your pulse for 6 seconds and multiply by 10 (just add a zero).

Put your first and middle fingers together and touch your opposite wrist, right about where a watch band would be.

Count the pulses you feel for 15 seconds and then multiply by 4. (15 secs x 4 = 60 seconds). You multiply by 4 because your pulse is your heart beats per minute.

touch your pulse or the nerve below your earlobe, count the number of beats per 10 seconds, multiply by 6. Most of us have heartbeat around 120 beats per minute

Find your pulse usually on your wrists or your carotid artery in your neck. I think its easier using your carotid artery. From your ear slide your poiner and your middle finger down you jaw bone till you get to the joint. then slide your fingers down under the bone and rest your middle finger just under the joint. then count the beats for a minute (usually looking at a clock).
