New York City has DOZENS of zip codes. What part of New York City are you talking about? Manhattan and Bronx are just across the river from New Jersey. But NYC has 5 sections called Burroughs the other 3 - Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island are considerably farther away - and yes they are all New York City. Go to the USPS site, input the exact address and get the specific zip code. Then I would mapquest this information from your New Jersey Address.

New York City has almost 100 different zip codes, so you're going to have to narrow it down.

Also, we are right across the river from New Jersey - in Manhattan and the Bronx, our side of the river is about a mile from their side of the river - in Staten Island, it's about a quarter of a mile.

www.mapquest.com to find out how far it is. It also depends on where in Jersey. Could be a couple of minutes, to a few hours.
