It is a waste of time and energy to worry about something that is inevatable. If I die and I cease to exist then I will not care, because I will not exist to care. I think it would be pretty much like it was before I was born and I suffered no ill effects from it then.

I don't fear dying because I feel that I won't exist, I fear dying because I feel that I might exist. The fear comes in the unknown fact that I might not know what my body is. But as I was born with an obvious body in this life, it shouldn't be so bad. The system is quite organized so I'm not too worried.

No. If I were created, I already existed. If I decided to enjoy my life by living, I'd choose living very well. There's no need, purpose, or reason for me to fear dying AFTER I've established and maintained a personal and spiritual relationship with God. I believe my personal and spiritual relationship with God is more important than any other, because part of what I believe to be determining factors is in where I chose to stand in my belief in God. Dying won't change the fact I both existed AND lived until my death.

I used to. I think I got over it by thinking it through and confronting it. I realized it will be no worse than before I was born. I have no sense of fear or anything when I try to think about a time before I was here so why will the time after I am here be different. It can only bother me now in the present if I allow it. I also realized that the best thing to do if you find yourself focused on death too much is to get out and focus on enjoying life. I don't mean in a destructive, over the top hedonist way but find something that gives you pleasure and meaning in life in a positive way. If you find something that makes life more pleasant and better for others so much the better. I think that this knowledge also makes me cherish and enjoy the people in my life more because I don't count on spending eternity with them.

I don't fear dying, actually I sometimes think it would be a relief to just not exist. I'm not religious and I don't think about death, except when I'm feeling suicidal. XD Then I wonder what the point is of living when I'm gonna die anyway.

No

I dont' particularly want to die, but it is inevitable, and is part of
"Nature's way" so I accept it. Before I was born I didn't exist, and after I die I won't exist...I've already been through the former so it is not frightening.

Believing in a fairy tale of a a heaven with streets paved with gold and pearly gates and singing praises to god for eternity may offer comfort to the weak minded, but they will end up in the same state as me just the same.

I fear dying because I'm afraid there might not be a Heaven where I'll be reunited with my loved ones. It scares me to death--if there's no Heaven, it will be a blessing to not exist.
