I have been able to talk with dead people since I was five years old shortly after my granddaddy died he along with others begin to talk with me.

No. You're a medium. Being a medium has nothing to do with witchcraft.
And even if it did, there's nothing wrong with being a witch. We're actually really nice people.

I guess some would call you a witch. I wouldn't unless you told me that you were one. I've known a white witch, and she was a friend.
But your ability is what it is. I wouldn't confuse it with anything other than an ability.
What the dead people tell you, I would not trust. I have had encounters with spirits, and they can take on the form and mannerisms of people that you knew or even know (like my cousin and my encounter with something that looked like him).
I was also approached by spirits when I was 8, until I was around 24. They were cut off after I became a Christian. The born again experience chased them away, because God's Spirit would no longer allow them access to me. I was then one of God's people then.
What those spirits were doing to me was giving me really bad feelings, they would come when I was typically attempt to go to sleep. I have been attacked in some forms of Lucid Dreams, and once as I woke up one was manifesting above me the night I had visited an old neighborhood I used to live in.
Just don't take it for granted that they are who they appear to be. God gives you protection against them. I think that you need it. Oh, the experiences God will give you instead of what they give you!

I should be careful about that! Most of the time that people are spending with the spiritual realm, in this case, these spirits that are entertaining you and also deceiving you to believe that they are your past relatives are nothing more than evil spirit creatures, demons, doing the bidding of their leader, Satan, the devil...heard of him? Just want to warn you about this and hope you get better learned before it is too late! Don't want to scare you or change your beliefs, just want you to think alittle about what I shared and what comes from a higher source...God! The Bible is a good book to do research on such practices and learn truths about these spirit creatures which devote their time and efforts in deviating mankind from what is God's plan for us all.

I say that you are a medium. They talk with the dead and can find out why they are able to talk with them in the first place. Like, if the dead person has a important message that they want the closes person able to hear them to deliver to their still living loved one.In some cases this has saved people's lives. Mediums aren't witches. Hope this helped you.

I saw what you said in answer to loginous's question about the Bible being a true or false test. Aren't you the spiteful one, just because you didn't like the answer to your question about talking to dead people. Well like put it this way, you are crazy if you think that your talking to dead people, you should be locked up in a nut house.

Witches are of the Wicca religion...and it has a very nasty stereotype thanks the the demonetization it took during the Witch Hunts...but that's another story.
If you can talk to spirits and the dead, it is more likely you are a medium. A conduit, as it were, between those dead and those mostly alive.

Mediums are psychics who talk with the dead.
Check out some books by John Edward or Sylvia Browne. Especially read the book "People who don't know they're dead" by Gary Leon Hill... you could really help others.
(Demons? Well you're certainly not possessed but it's best to be careful... .the astral is something you ought to know more about.)

you'd be a spiritis or a spiritualist--the practice started in the fifties and wasn't considered to be religious at all, more a form of entertainment--people held seances and had spirit parties all the time, and most of the participants were christians, and the practices helped assure them of the existence of heaven in the afterlife

A witch is a woman supposed to have magical powers or dealings with evil spirits. Old hag. So if these people you are suppose to be talking to are evil than I guess you are a witch. A lot of people talk to dead people I talk to my parents now and then but they are not evil so I don't consider myself a witch.
