In what years were the following countries invaded by Germany during WWII: Denmark, Norway, Belgium, Netherlands, Yugoslavia, Czechoslavakis, Luxembourg, Austria. An Answer tonight would be very much appreciated.

Austria annexed - 1938
Munich Pact (appeasement) - September 29, 1938 (permission to take Czech Sudetenland)
March 15, 1939 - complete invasion of Czechoslovakia
Poland - 1939 (case u forgot)
Soviet Union invades Poland - 16 days later in September of '39
Soviet Union bombs Sweden - February 1940 (BEFORE Sweden gives permission for German troops to cross and before the Nazi-Soviet NAP is established)
Denmark and Norway - April 1940 in Operation Weseruebung
Belgium and Holland - May 1940 (Chamberlain replaced by Churchill then too), both surrender within the month
Greece repels Italians and invades Italian Albania - November 1940
Hungary, Romania, Slovakia join German side - one week later, November 1940
Bulgaria joins Germany - March 1941
Coup in Iraq which joins German side - April 1941
Croatia secedes from Yugoslavia and joins Germans FOLLOWING the German invasion of Yugoslavia and Greece- April 1941
USSR and Imperial Japan sign NAP - April 1941
Britain attacks Iraq on the 2nd and enters Baghdad on the 31st - May 1941
Italy, Hungary, Romania, Finland declare war on USSR with Germany - June 1941(Operation Barbarrossa)
GB and USSR invade Iran - August 1941
Britain declares war on Finland - December 6, 1941
Pearl Harbor Attacks - December 7, 1941

Don't forget that many of these countries were invaded before, in 1914 (Netherland (?), France, Belgium, Luxembourg), during the WW1.

(sorry to tell : the invasion of Luxembourg was not a funny story, at least not for the very vast majority of the Luxembourgers.)

Would have been much better if you'd limited your question to one of the above nations. Then people could answer you a little more specifically. I know why they invaded norway. But did germany invade austria? Why are there so many stars in the night sky?

Yugoslavia 1941,Poland 1939,Austria 1938(before the war),Czechoslovakia1939(part of it was already part of Germany,province shleska,and they were not forced,democratically joined because there were mostly German people).all this other countries fell in a year.in 1940-41.they had no real defences,and could not resist German blitz krieg(fast war),with a brilliant war tactic,Germans were able to ran over Europe in a year.example,Yugoslavia was taken in less than a week.

Belgium(My country): 1940
Netherlands: 1940
Luxembourg: 1940
Yugoslavia: 1941
Austria: 1938, but they did not resist, the became a part of Germany, in what is called 'the anschluss' or the annexiation of Austria into greater-germany.
