Yes, it's as safe as any other packaged vegetables. The source of this summer's e coli outbreak was identified, and the affected fields were eliminated from production.
Still, it's a good idea to always wash your fruits and vegetables even when they say "triple rinsed". This wouldn't have stopped the outbreak from the tainted spinach, but it's a good practise to follow in general.
