UK - How much does it cost to have a ring re-sized??

I had to have my engagement ring cut off, so I was wondering how much it would cost to have it re-sized?? Thanks for any answers :)

I bought a white gold ring in Chatham in Kent - resizing cost me £8.00.

About $25 within 1-3 days at Local jewelry store. I often do that and re size a ring according to requirements of my customers.

Hi if you are in the uk there have a look at www.gemstv.com on there is an address for stanleys jewlers who will do it at trade prices. It does mean sending it away, and normally takes 2 weeks, but the work is very good and for a little extra they will re hall mark it. Good luck.

Well I'm in Canada and am presently getting my wedding ring resized. Cost in Canadian dollars will be approximately 50 dollars which would be around 25 pounds I believe.

If you go to H samuel it costs £18, had to do it other day for my wife. I had to cut hers of cos she was pregnant and fingers swelled up and could not get it off.

All places are different,,so different prices,,so u will have to do abit of popping in2 differant shops to find out,,it should'nt cost the end of the world its not alot of gold,,good luck,

my dad is an anticque seller n has a mate tht does tht stuff, but go down to your local jewlers n they will tell u a pricee

my Mum left me her engagement ring when she died, it cost me 38pound to have it resized 3 years ago.
