just got a 6 year old from a friend who could know longer care for him he's nuetered and all but very hyper is this normal send any info on them if u would

yes in my experience in 2yrs of animal control for the county ,every pomeranian is hyper ,yappy,annoying and often over protective.anklebiters who never seem to get the concept of using the yard and not the kitchen for 1 and 2.there cute and cuddly when puppies and hyper and annoying 6 months later.

Hyper can mean alot of things...is he out of control, fearful? Or just enthusiastic? If you walk it at least twice a day ( a good long walk) it will be less crazy. Try a dog park where it can wear itself out with other dogs and come home with all its ya ya's out.

yes, small dogs are all hyper. there meds for dogs. Take him to the vet and ask what kind of meds. Are you dog can be train a pet training, are check at a pet store for a book or your libary or search the internet, They can be train.
