I guess I am the biggest supporter of "illegal immigrants" but I do not support "illegal immigration". I know it doesn't make much sense for a lot of people.

I don't see what courage it takes to run away from your home country. The courage would be in staying there and fighting for a better way of life.It takes no courage to sneak across the border, that's not bravery.that's the cowards way out.A lot of the men never look back, they never send any money home, they don't care about their starving family's.They come to the USA find another woman and start another family.Stop trying to place these law breakers up on a pedestal. Its never takes courage to retreat from responsibility. The country they run from needs to be reformed into a nation that cares about all its people and not just the wealthy. All illegals are not hard working, not all illegals are honest. What they all have in common is the fact that they are illegal aliens. All people are different, there are greedy opportunist in every country.just like there are good people .But to characterize all illegals as good people is an out and out lie.

The 1986 Amnesty is seen as a catastophic failure, substitute into ripe with fraud and did no longer something to curtail unlawful immigration. Amnesty and the dream act are ineffective as door nails. Why because of the fact goverment is talking to professional unlawful communities. Thats what they're going to do communicate over with them yet no longer something will ever be executed. a million) Amnesty could value over 2.8 trillion money 2) the advantages of illegals (as they declare) are decrease fees for agriculture and different business enterprise that hire them it extremely is handed on. this could disapear with amnesty. 3) Amnesty could supply get right of entry to to welfare classes that are already strained. 4) 87% of human beings are against amnesty. Face it, wellbeing care reform is needed by utilising nearly all of human beings and that's having difficulty passing. each and all of the march on the 21st will do in anger human beings and it will positioned the amnesty reason back one hundred years.

"and those who bash (sometimes worse thatn LAPD) just complain and do nothing about it?"
Let's discuss that statement you made a moment.
Minute Men. Legal activities, observing the border peacefully with binoculars, cellphones and a lawn chair. Invited to speak at Columbia are rushed by shouting hooligans with the aim of squashing their right to speak freely. Bashed daily by those , like you, sympathetic to the ILLEGAL immigrants, calling them racists. They are doing something. Something legal and trying to make a difference.
Read this. ILLEGAL immigration. Illegal being the operative word. Just because a person wants something, there is no guarantee they will get it. Get a clue man, most people born here are of families that went through the naturalization process. Don't expect sympathy. You will wait a long time. I paid an immigration attorney to help my daughter-in-law to become a citizen, she is smart, industrious and keeps her car insurance up to date. Don't expect any sympathy from me. I wish those folks had a better life, but don't you think that is up to their country to provide?
Wishing won't make it so pal.

No doubt there is no comparision to their willingness to sacrifice their own lives for a better life for their families. And most of them go back after making some money here. I have read people crossing the border more than once in just one year.
Quite frankly, I do not see too big of an issue here. They are making money, though very small by US standards, and would be happy to make a few dollars an hour. Their employers are happy - they get the cheapest labour. Which in turn increases US citizen's buying power.
The only negative impact is when their children are born here. By birth, they become US citizens. (In a way, this is not at all undesirable, since working extremely hard runs in their blood.) Though there is no reason not to allow their children to be citizens-by-birth, this would increase population. And all unwanted side effects of increasing population.
So, looks to me that citizenship-by-birth could be taken away, thereby ensuring they will not settle here. This should quell all opponents.

Mexico's president supports illegal immigration into the US. Kind of sad actually, as president don't you want to help your people in your own country??? Illegals who are currently in the US also support illegal immigration.
Most Americans oppose illegal immigration and rightfully so. Nothing wrong with people coming into the US to get a better life, but you have to remember that there is a difference between immigration and ILLEGAL immigration!! If immigrants come to the US and 1) adapt to the American way of life, 2) learn to speak English and 3) become a US citizen through the propper channels, then Americans won't have a problem!!

They are criminals and should be treated as such.
Yes anyone can come here legally and it is a slap in the face's of all the ones trying to come in the right way.
It is not the good o'l days anymore now it is not just the hard working immigrants coming across there are people from other countries that want to harm Americans and our way of life. Yes this country was built by immigrants but there comes a time when every country has to control the immigration population and security of our country. With countries like N. Korea having a nuke and countries like Iran that want one and that threaten to blow Israel off the map and threaten to use it on Americans And with countries so close like Venezuela that say our president is the devil. And all the hard working immigrants that just want to better their lives are paying the price. But to come into a country illegally and then not try to fit in by Tring to learn the English language by not coming here and under cut wages and not pay taxes but use government resources like hospital and not paying for services rendered causing eight hospitals to close in Calif. because of illegal immigration.
If they feel this law dose not pertain to them ?
What other laws do not pertain to them ?
City's and towns next to the borders have increase crime and drugs trafficking this needs to stop.
If everyone would just obey the laws go through the immigration system. There are over one million Mexican immigrants given citizenship every yr more then any other country in the world and we are called racist.
It is our Country and all we want to do is protect it and know whom is coming in and for what reason.
There are terrorist in our country already I just pray our Gov. is tracking them better then the last time.
We know there is a threat to our Country lets not wait for something to happen before we make a move.
We our Americans we lead the way
What should be looked at is way are people so poor that they will risk everything to escape from a country so rich in oil and other resources. Why our they so poor.
Mexico has a rich tourist attractions where people from all over the world come to visit But the people want to escape from there.
Why is it Americas problem and not Mexico's
We need to put America and Americans first

I support people coming here for a better life 100%, but when done through the legal channels of course. I understand their (illegals) plight and have seen it firsthand, but agree that it should be legal for everyone's sake including their own. Perhaps if the legalization process wasnt so drawn out and take years, these people wouldnt be so desperate to come by illegal means.

The reason they are being punished is because they are breaking the law. It's called aiding and abbetting. Just like if someone committed murder(not that it's related to illegal immigration), and someone else decided to help that person by housing them and letting them hide out in their home, they would be commiting a crime. I also think it's a slap in the face to all the immigrants who went through the process legally. What makes mexicans and cubans and whomever else is coming here illegally any different? Why should they be allowed to cut in line? What makes them so special?

I'm for people coming here for a better life as long as they take the time and do it the legal way, instead of placing themselves and their children in immediate danger by trying to enter the country illegally.
