Way before my time Brother. Here's what I know about Larry from being around the sport for over 33 years, Larry was from Toronto, Canada he passed away a few years ago in 1983. He fought a lot in England and it seems that whenever he fought in the U.S he lost and lost bad. he had a career record of 114 wins 22 loses and 5 draws and 60 knockouts.

He fought and knocked out Max Schmeling in the second round in Germany. He also fought and loss to Jack London three times.

I remember Larry Gains. I saw him box against the Dutch heavyweight champion in 1939 in Jersey, Channel Islands. He won on points.

I know of him but too young to remember him. He was a Canadian heavyweight I think in the 20's and 30's.
