my boyfriend asked me out a week ago. He doesn't want people to know about us. I try to say hi but he doesn't say it back. I want his phone number but he has no home phone and he doesn't want to give me his cell#. I really like him. I care too.... Is there something wrong with this. I'm not sure?

It all depends what your ideal partner is. If you don't mind being kept in the 'dark' then he is an ideal partner especially if he doesn't want 'anybody' to know you two go out. There can be many reasons why he is keeping it hush hush. Either he has a very strict life and is to ashamed to talk about it. Or here's the downside of the situation, that he is to embarrassed to let people know your his girl but likes to see you on the 'downlow' because he is worried about what his mates may think? or he has other girlfriends and really doesn't want to settle for one? It is really your choice what you want out of this relationship. If he isn't giving you what you want out of it or at least meet you 'halfway' then he better off not your boyfriend at all. Interesting he doesn't want to give his number to you. Either the phone is really not his or he hates texting and ringing or he is trying to limited the communication between you two. If that is the case and you don't mind then that's great, but if you want more and he's not giving it then drop your 'doesn't want anybody to know or say hi back to you or won't give his number to you' boyfriend.

This guy doesnt want anyone to know that he is seeing you. There is definitely something going on. Has he been physical with you or mentioned anything about having a physical relationship? Do you believe that there is an emotional connection between you two? If not, its best to end this. He may just be in it for your body, and anytime a guy wont give you his cell phone number AND doesnt want people to know whats going on, you should walk away! A guy should be proud to have you as his girlfriend, not shady....

Yes, there is something wrong with that. If he doesn't want anyone to know and won't give you his cell #, then he is using you for something. Find a guy who will treat you right and don't settle for anything less.

I think you are sure, otherwise you wouldn't have asked, and there is something definately wrong. Try to talk to him about your concerns, if nothing changes, you should probably move on, or else you risk a lot of anguish and unnecessary pain.

he must be embarrassed of you if he doesn't want anybody to know about ya relationsip or he just might be with another girl and if anybody found out about you tthat will ruin his relationship but he has to have feelings for you if he so badly wants you or this might be a bet cause this doesn't sound like a relationship

id find a new boy friend.. if i were you..
why would i want a boy.. who wants to keep me a secret.. what problem does he have that he doesn't want anyone else to know about me?
it just seems really fishy..
id find a boy who wanted to shout from a mountain top that i was his girlfriend.. :) and tell that other guy to go jump off a cliff or something :)

If he doesnt want to speak to you in public,that usually means hes embarassed of you.Let me guess,hes popular and youre not?Well I think he might be using you.When he tries to speak to you in public just turn and walk away!Or simply break up with him!
