Why do we report stuff unless its actively abusive and harrasive? And for those who don't read much

(Context)
I think I just got reported by a Christian for posting a question asking if Christians could try tactics other than screaming their lungs out at people that they are going to Hell. I would be suprised if a Pagan would find it offensive that a Christian would want to encourage others (and honestly, themselves) to speak gently and with love.

(Actual Question...to prove that there is one)

So Christians, how old are we? And what kind of Christian would report another for asking a question about how we comport ourselves, even on Answers.com. Everywhere we are, we are being judged. Our words and actions directly reflect on people's opinions of Christianity as a whole. So what would it take to help each other act with love and maturity?

It would take a miracle - people are gonna report things because everyone has their own views about subjects and some feel strong enough about them to attempt to stop anyone who feels otherswise - Christians do need to find a less harrassing way of dealing with others, however there isn't many affective ways that I can think of and Im sure that they can think of, so they probably think it is the only way.

Scientists of Isaac Newtons day, figured out the age of average man, by his intelligence (what they generaly knew) compared to scientific minds. The "mean" age of corporate man in Newtons time was about 19. About four years ago, they said the "mean" age of man was 29.
Don't be discouraged by narrow minded people. Just be aware that there are people who have thier own private agenda's, and some are not what you see on the suface.

A 'miracle.' This is the thing with religion - it doesn't actually make anyone act any better than they would otherwise. So, when people are so horrible (as all people are), it just looks bad on the religion when they claim they're supposedly more 'moral' and 'grown-up' than the rest of us.

People shouldn't be reporting anyone. It's Yahoo's job to moderate these boards so let them deal with any offensive content.

I am 28. I didn't and wouldn't report you.

I only report is a question is obscene, vulgar, or contains racial slurs. That's bad for ALL of us, not just Christians.

Psalm 2
1 Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain?
2 The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the LORD and against his Anointed One.

Psalm 3
1 O LORD, how many are my foes! How many rise up against me!
2 Many are saying of me, "God will not deliver him." Selah
3 But you are a shield around me, O LORD; you bestow glory on me and lift [b] up my head.
4 To the LORD I cry aloud, and he answers me from his holy hill. Selah
5 I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the LORD sustains me.
6 I will not fear the tens of thousands drawn up against me on every side.
7 Arise, O LORD! Deliver me, O my God! Strike all my enemies on the jaw; break the teeth of the wicked.
8 From the LORD comes deliverance. May your blessing be on your people. Selah

Psalm 7
1 O LORD my God, I take refuge in you; save and deliver me from all who pursue me,
2 or they will tear me like a lion and rip me to pieces with no one to rescue me.
