See i'm in college and i just heard that congress is thinking about bringing it back in January of this coming up year. What do you think about it?

if the democrats have anything to do with it, yes. the really ironic thing is the democrats/liberals used this same scare tactic on voters over the years of bush's administration saying the republicans and bush were going to reinstate the draft because they were such 'war mongers' now the reality is its one of their own.

Tough to say. The rich will keep their kids safe while the poor witl fight. Has happened all the way back to the War of 1812 first Draft of American troops. The Draft of 1862 of Union forces caused the New York Draft riots. The draft is never a good thing.
Right now. The "stop loss" program is in effect. Keeping soldiers with 8 yrs left in their contract from going any where. I personally fall under that Order. Per say. i am in the USN inactive Reserve until 2008. I can be called back up any time. And guess where I will be. Out on a ship protecting American interest and freedoms.

If the Dems do instate the draft to try to fight the war the Repubs made, why are the Repubs so afraid to fight? It's their war. The Repubs do everything without taking any responsibility.

Yes I think it's great, gets a lot of the incorrigible youth of the streets and teach them to be responsible.

if the U.S keeps going the way they are going, then yes there is allot of anger over the war in Iraq, The U.S needs to back away from that anger

With the way this administration is going, I wouldn't be surprised if they did enforce the draft.
