1800 butterball ..the turkey talk line...says 1.5 lbs per person with some leftovers
so 15 people!

depends on how much each person eats if each eats an average of three- quarters of a pound then I'd say (that would be on the scanty side)

23/.75= 30.3infinity

so 30 people

but if they each eat about a pound then 23 people(average)

2 lbs. on the heavy side would feed 11 people.

good luck trying to figure that out but I'd go with 11 people and keep the left overs for the next week and eat them

Count on 2-3 people per pound because not all of your 23 lbs will be edible. Happy Thanksgiving!
