Does this mean that there is someone else?

If your boyfriend tells you that he has quote "put the brakes on" in your relationship, does that necessarily mean that there is someone else? He told me he wants to take a break because he is not happy with his life right now and that he wasn't sure if it was the relationship that was making him unhappy or if it was something else. What do I do???

give him the 'room' he's asking for. live your life, although it may sound harsh, you may even love 'him set him free if he comes back it was meant to be'.

All you can do is sit back honey and let him have his space. It is better for him and you to take a look at your relationship or what have you to decide if this is what both of you want. When you pressure someone then the situation turns ugly and then the break up is ugly. It could mean that he is seeing someone else but let him tell you before you jump to conclusions. While he is taking a break you should go out with your girlfriends and have a good time enjoying the single life while he is making a decision about what it is that is making him unhappy.

First of all don't be upset. He seems very confused and you don't need that. Tell him when he decides what is making him unhappy and he still wants to see you to give you a call and if you are not seeing anyone you may have a chat with him. Don't ever let a guy think he hurt you. Remember that. Don't give them the satisfaction. Be strong, be tough. If you have to cry, wait until you get home, go to your room, have one good cry and that's it. Move on.

There could be a million reasons why he would do this, one being there is someone else. He could simply not feel the same as you do or feel like the relationship doesnt give him the happines he is seeking. Or he has so much going on in his life that he doesnt feel the relationship deserves much priority.
There really inst much you can do about it. If thats the way he feels, the 'why' of it doesnt change anything.

Set him free, sometimes in a relationship we find boredom, we tend to look for more adventure, but it doesn't mean he had a new relationship, give him space to see what he really wants. Do your self a favor too, there are lots of fun and guys out there you might find more interested and compatible with you. You are not at lost here, but he is. I am sure you are worthy as a diamond more than he knows. GIVE HIM A BREAK...HE IS NOT WORTH OF YOUR TIME.
