It is just a guideline. 13th Nov. wasn't all that long ago. Smell it first. You can smell mould before seeing it, and if you kept it dry and safe, it should still be fine. We waste too much food by paying too much religious detail to these best before dates.

You could, its probably not going to give you food poisoning. Might taste a bit funny, although the garlic will probably cover it up.
Isn't the bread stale though?

If it's a 'best before' date it's only advisory.
I'd make sure you cook it thoroughly to kill off any germs, but as long as it looks OK it should be fine.

Garlic is actually an antibiotic, (seen it on Rough science) so that's an extra safety bonus!!

I would if it's been frozen - It's Bread and butter at the end of the day. Meats I wouldn't trust but I don't think the bread will do you any harm..
Enjoy!

If it's not mouldy, doesn't smell rancid and is going to be heated up (thoroughly) then it should be okay, but personally I'd just buy a new one!
