are you happy now that his approval rating has fell to another all time low
are you happy that his secretary of defense had to shamefully resign
are you happy that he lied and invaded Iraq without the UN approval
are you happy that we now have an unwinnable war on our hands and we are on the brink of a draft to clean up his mess
and will you still be happy when this war escalates into world war 3 when we send more troops that will broaden the scope of this war to an out and out war on Islam
How many troops will we need to fight Iran, Syria, and whoever else wants to jump in?

It is funny how all the things the Bush administration said will never happen eventually happen. The war was never going to be compared to Vietnam now Bush himself has made the comparison. The war was not going to go on forever but it will if the US wants to leave a stable country.

The draft will eventually happen despite what the Bush supporters try to rationalize away. The war won't end and enough won't enlist. Let alone if we have another military action in another part of the world any time soon. The draft will be here and all the jackasses who said it will never happen won't say a word.

You know, I use to walk with you on the Liberal rhetoric lies. I am beginning seriously to doubt what even our own news media wants us to know. Do a little research as I have done?
try this on google:

Saddam WMDs
Saddam Terrorist Ties
Iraq on terrorism

Don't be shocked if you see the truth in some of those. But continue to be unbiased and don't just believe all that is seen and read in our American Media. Branch out we live in the Digital age. News in France, Israel, Saudi, Britain, Germany, Sri Lanka. It can all be used to form an opinion outside of Mainstream American Media...

BTW---Bush does not have the POWER to set the DRAFT congress does. understand American politics before adventuring into world politics...Cause less grief.

Thanks

EDIT::: There is NO mess...The Iraqi people want us there. Go look it up. Ask some Vets. We are doing good. But, people will always bash war. It has been going on for centuries. This one is no different.

First and foremost, I suggest you get educated on how the American government works. This is NOT Bush's war. Bush was given intelligence reports that he passed onto Congress. Congress agreed with Bush that there were major issues in Iraq. Congress is who approved the motion to go to war. All the President can do is suggest it. Congress is who truly runs this country. In the end, if you learn about politics, the President has very little power.

Secondly, it's your beloved Democrats that are initiating the draft movement once again. The President has not asked for this, nor did our prior Republican run Congress. Now that the Dems are in control, talks of a draft have once again started. I doubt it'll pass, but who knows. You people ensure that crooks and criminals like Kennedy, Hillary, Nancy and Kerry are all in office. You have nobody to blame but yourself.

Next time, I suggest you come loaded with some intelligence before you post. You've only proved your ignorance and also proved that you know nothing about the political system. Personally, I hope there isn't a draft. I don't need the lame jerks that feel they don't need to defend their rights and freedoms behind my hubby's back on the front line. I'd rather they just left it to those of us who do believe in what we're doing.

Finally, in reference to your questions, I think others have answered them very well. I don't believe much in approval ratings. I'll take the man for what he is and go with my own opinion. Yes, I'm happy Rumsfeld resigned. As much as I support Bush in this, I don't think Rummy had a good enough plan of action. There was no lie and we did what the UN should have did long before we went in ourselves. The war is winnable if people like YOU stay out of it. We have enough obstacles as it is. WW3 is a bit of an exageration, but considering how uneducated you are, I can understand your thinking that. Goodness knows you don't know enough about your own country to defend it.

Rep. Charles Rengel, soon-to-be Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, is proposing reinstituting the draft as a means of preventing the President of the US from rushing to war in the future. The thinking goes that if more members of Congress' children were at a real risk of being placed in a battlefield, that they would be less likely to put other peoples' children at risk.

so which war do you think we're going to start, because a war on islam is not necessarily going to start world war 3, not to mention, we are not there to fight islam, we are there to help the Iraqi people, depose a despot, and help them back on their feet (so to speak), I have yet to hear or read anything that says we're fighting the Islamic religion

even if a draft is started (please note the word IF) and I am drafted (I'm 20 so just the age they want) I will go to Iraq with pride, and I will fight and DIE if necessary for YOU and the ideals you CLAIM to believe in, and to help those people in need over there.

I'm not saying that Bush has done everything perfect, there are A LOT of mistakes that have been made, but he's doing the best job he can, he could rectify some of them, but you seem to be overlooking the fact that because we are there a TYRANT was removed and put on trial for his many many many crimes against his people, good things have come out of this

our soldiers are helping people wherever they can, and just because Bush is losing support doesn't mean we should stop supporting our soldiers

i don't support this "war" but I do support our soldiers, and if it becomes necessary for me to join them, I will go for MY COUNTRY, not for my president

There is no draft in this country. You are seriously misinformed. There is a DEMOCRAT senator (from NY no less) who plans to reintroduce a draft bill -- this same senator and draft legislation has been defeated in the past.

The President does not introduce legislation nor pass laws. Again, you are misinformed about how government works in this country.

Okay...First off...
1. There is no draft...Nor do I think that there will be one
2. Polls can be taken any way...the nature of them
3. He did not do the job that he needed to do
4. I do not think that he lied. He was given mis-information. He should fix that
5. Nothing is unwinnable
6. I do not think that it will go that far

Things could have/should have been done differently. but I think now we need to bring the 'boys' home

The war is winnable. The draft is the democrats idea not the republicans. What's another dumb soldier to a democrat? Just ask Kerry. You people did this, don't lay this on the republicans.
