It really depends on your location as to what is available to you. My first suggestion is to try calling your local United Way, because they offer a counceling program through what they call their Family Services. Also, sometimes, I have learned it's just best to try and find a doctor on your own. A lot of times, you have to pick more than one and go through the process of visiting for a week or two until you find one that your son really likes, that really helps him with his problems. The main thing is to make sure that whatever type of service you find for him, he is comfortable with.

Call your local but biggest hospital. Our local hospital has a residential 6 month program for your son for ex.

If you have insurance, the best thing to do is call your insurance company and see who they are contracted with. The other option is to call your local emergency room and ask the attendant. They have seen everything and they would know where to refer you to. Good luck.
