I am looking into Yoga, but am wondering how it will benefit me. I am 26 and really need to tone up...not necessarily lose weight, but just tone up. Will Yoga do that? How can I find a good workout to do at home? How long will it take until I start seeing results?

I love yoga, and would recommend it to anybody, but some people do prefer other more heavily aerobic workouts.

I noticed feeling more toned right away from yoga - I'm sore for a few days after every class - but it probably took a month or two before I started seeing a difference in the mirror. I notice it first in my shoulders and arms.

There are a lot of yoga DVDs out there that you could do at home, but I prefer going to a class with an instructor to guide me. Like in any exercise, proper form is important.

Yoga also isn't *just* about physical exercise - it also includes breath work, meditation, etc, so expect that as well. Some yoga classes that are taught in gyms and sports clubs gloss over this aspect of it.

Yoga is an excellent workout for home or in a group. Check into buying a DVD or ask your local health club if they offer Yoga classes. You will find you feel and look better very soon!

Test-drive different exercise routines to find your fit. There's no one right exercise. It's pretty much personal choice. My wife likes yoga, but I like to do functional training.

yoga will benefit everybody else. findout a good instructor in your locality or go to some good yoga book

DO NOT DO YOGA IT IS BORING. instead go to the gym and ask the gym instructer that you want to tone your body up.

Yoga is always beneficial....
Especially for girls.
