any good diy book will do or perhaps links on the internet.

in the uk its all about getting a phase neutral and earth around each point.
so for the sockets grab a reel of 2.5mm 2core and earth (so called because the earth doesnt have an extra layer of insultation) and take it round to each socket in a ring. usually fuse at 32A with a circuit breaker.
for an immersion heater fuse at 16A and take a single 2.5mm 2c and earth cable.

(This starts getting a bit boring, go and buy a book)
