I am not a Muslim, but I've always heard conflicting views on this issue...I've heard some people say that the religion is sexist, and I've heard others say that Islam honors women more than many of the other religions. I'm just curious to know what the Quran says about women's roles and how they should be treated, if there are any Muslims or people who know about the religion on Yahoo Answers today. Well muslims females are treated best in islam, and they are given all the rights which even a liberal governament can't think of . And muslim males treat them in best way !!

They do not treat them like trash or slaves they treat both males and females with the same respect and not Women are more powerful then men and vise versa.

From all I have seen and heard, women are second class citizens that cannot speak until spoken to and are not allowed to be educated, nor hold jobs. I could be wrong, so this is just my opinion.
