I'd like to know if there's a possibilty I would be able to join the Army with my Asthma? Had it since I've been a child? Would I even survive Basic Training? :)

It depends on how severe. I know someone who applied to go to officer's candidate school, which may have different requirements than enlisting. During the physical, they induced him with histamines and induced an asthma attack. He was rejected when he had an attack. I would ask a recruiter. They will probably have you go through the physical and see how you fare and then make an individual determination.

Asthma after age 12 or 13 disqualifies you for service.

That would depend on what type of Asthma and how bad it gets. If it can be controlled with meds, then possibily. I would check with your local recruiter.

if you have asthma and are just now enlisting then know you can not get in, it is a disqualifying factor for enlistment, but if you are already enlisted, and get DX with it then they will not kick you out.
