I don't think I would. Botulism isn't something to play around with. It's a shame you might have to waste the food, but better that than becoming desperately ill.

Depends...usually it is safe'

Ham is a cured pork leg or rear haunch.
Cured means that it has been treated with sugar, salt, nitrate etc to remove water so that bacteria normally do not grow on it.
and to inhibit the growth of harmful microorganisms

Nitrate inhibits botulinium. It may also be a part of the ham curing process.

Smoked hams are additionally preserved by the phenolic components in the smoke.

You can hang hams in the open air and they dont spoil because of the curing process.

Pioneers used this method so that they could store meat without refrigeration for literally MONTHS.

While some of the answerers may find this repugnant, properly cured ham can take a lot of room temperature exposure without becoming unsafe to eat.

If it relatively is cured ham, it ought to be ok. i does not recommend eating any meat ignored in one day nevertheless. the sole exception could be dried meat, ie: jerky. in spite of if the beef includes diverse salt, it relatively is not risk-free. It additionally includes water. Room temperature air and the moisture from the ham makes for a bacterial breeding floor. At worst you ought to exchange into violently sick. At maximum suitable, basically some undesirable gas. i assume you will could desire to settle on if it relatively is properly worth it to grant it a attempt. that's a shame to throw out ham, i be attentive to.

As long as it was plenty cool in your home last night the food is still good. If you had the heat on last night or it was just too hot in your house then I wouldn't eat it.
