I was dating a guy and he's not that attractive but he was good to me but he would tell me how his friends would ask him (if I was really his GF? I would ignore the question and just hug him, cause I ddin't know what to say (hey those are his friends). SO he started treating me like sh!t and then broke up with me, did he feel that I was to pretty for him or did he allow his friends to get the best of him..??

I love my husband I find my life a blessing with him and so glad to wake up with him in the am. We have been together for over 25plus yrs. I love him more each day. We still love hanging out with each other. We talk all the time I think that is a huge part of a relationship is talking about everything. words cannot express the joy I have in my life and I hope everyone could find a person like this Sun Flower that is a bit harsh sorry you have a bad life. I want you to know if you need to talk you can e-mail me anytime. :)

It would seem to be that he felt as if you were too good for him and he's hurting right now about it, his friends probably pushed him to do it, but seeing as i am in the same predictiment as you, being away from someone that treated you right, until recently, and then to be broken up with them. I would go to him and ask him why, away from his friends perferably, so that he can answer you truthfully without worry. and if then when he tells you what he has been feeling, tell him what it is that you feel, than if the tides seem right, get back together if you two can. if not then i guess it just wasnt meant to be for you two. I hope everything works out for you.

Friends? He is an insecure guy so you would have ended up having to reassure him all the time that someone as pretty as you could love him and that's not the way a healthy relationship works. You ducked a bullet there.

His friends made him feel confident, unfortunately it was false confidence. He felt like he could probably find someone just as pretty to show his buddies that it wasn't a fluke. The good part is, it WILL come back to haunt him.

I went through the that with old girlfriend,,later engaged too,,,friends would tease me and say "what is she doing with you" she looked just like Jamie Lee Curtiss when she was younger,very-very good looking!! but she broke off the engagement,no reason given,,the guy she started seeing looks just like me as I have been told !!

he probably let his friends get the best of him. If he could not look past that then he has a problem and you should not be with anyway

I believe he was an insecure person anyway. I think your being pretty just brought all his insecurities to the surface.

His friends got the best of him. Don't beat yourself up, he didn't deserve you. Who breaks up with someone if they're hot?
