I have had dreadful scalp problems for about 8 years. I kept them under control by using Head and Shoulders shampoo but I could never improve the situation. Even using prescribed shampoo on a daily basis would not get rid of this problem. In the summer I was given an aloe vera plant and started to use its juice on the affected part of my scalp. I would cut off a leaf, split it open and then rub the inside part onto my scalp. It gave instant relief and since then my scalp problem has been slowly clearing up. As the skin has been affected for so many years it has taken a long time but is now almost back to normal. I would rub the juice on my scalp at least twice a day and keep any unused parts of the leaf in the fridge ready for the next application.

I have a very sore dry scalp from time to time which gets itchy and sore and scabby - lovely i know.
I have been prescribed both sel sun and polytar which stink and i swear i can still smell them after i have washed my hair, and didn't really do a great deal but was better than nothing.
Anyway my hair dresser suggested nizorelle and it really does work and doesnt stink either which is great.
Why didn't my doctor suggest nizorelle from the begining i do not know but believe me IT WORKS

My boyfriend does. He gets severe dry scalp. He uses Polytar shampoo and it clears it all up! Also Dax Hair wax clears dry scalp.
