I just bought a 2003 model of nissan frontier(American specs) and i cant find where exactly on the engine is the specific number

If you mean the engine serial number. It's on the back passenger side above the flexplate/flywheel on the block. Look behind the valve cover on the block. I hope this helps.

What for? VG 3.3 liter. I looked at the general info section of the nissan service manual page GI-46. The engine number is located behind the passenger side cyl head on top just in front of the transmission bellhousing under the auto trans dip stick you might need a mirror. 2.4 liter engine number is left hand side of the engine block near the rear of the engine.
