Be thankful that you don't have to date a mama's boy anymore. In that type of relationship, you'll always play second fiddle.

If you are really interested in this boy then find out why his mother doesn't like you. Is it the way you dress; the way you talk or what. If it is something you can fix then work to fix it and let the boy know through your actions that you are trying to gain his mothers approval. Even ask him for his help.
Since you have already broken up it may be too late. Give it a shot and if it doesn't work out then move on. There are other fish in the water.

Why doesn't she like you? Is it something you said, did? Does she feel that you are too controlling. Has dating you changed her sons personality, in her eyes? If you don't know, find out. Maybe try talking with his mom and seeing if you can't let her get to know you and like you. Or you could just try sitting back and doing your best to respect his decision. If the mom sees that you aren't going to go crazy over this, even though you care about him, maybe she will respect you for being so understanding and change her mind. The main thing is to find out why she doesn't like you, and KEEPING YOUR COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If a guy really cares about you and wants to be with you then he will not let anyone interfere with his feelings. Even if his mom was to not like you if he really wanted it to work out then he would have tried harder. A guy like this is just not worth your time he obviously didn't feel the need to try and keep his realtionship work with you. He obviously needs to grow up. Drop him and find a guy that is much beter for you!

RUN...as fast as you can! If she's causing these problems now, it will only get worse! Remember, he's allowing this, which means, he's never going to be in your corner. Women come and go, but momma is there forever. Your best bet is to find a man that isn't controlled by his mommy!

And my situation has a whole different element he's trying to get back with his ex and it hurts because he told me that He didn't know what he would do without me and then two days later he broke up with me I think me is confused and it hurts to see him with her because she has already hurt him soo bad and he doesn't need to be hurt anymore. .. .I think he was running because he really did love me but he was affraid of commitment and he listened to his aunt because he was confused and scared

Find a new one. It isn't worth the hassle of a boy who is attached to his mama's apron strings. He let his mom dictate who he dates? Something's wrong with him don't you think?

Honestly, you're better off without him, I'm afraid. If he does come to his senses soon, then you both have to develop clear boundaries with regard to his mother. I hope you find someone great!
