What about breads like pumpernickel, oatmeal, rye, sourdough, french?

look at the label, which has more fiber. Some times whole grain or multi grain breads have some whole wheats, but still contain enriched flour. You'd be best with a Whole Wheat bread. Read ingredients. Look for highest fiber content, the bread should contain the most natural ingredients.

That would depend on the ingredients. There is French white bread and french whole wheat bread etc etc.
The package would say 100% whole grain or 100% whole wheat.

It will usually say on the package in plain letters whole grain. It comes in wheat bread or a combination of oats, wheat and other grains.
