The damage done by severe dieting is mainly caused by malnutrition. The things you do to achieve the weight loss will deprive your body of the nutrients it needs (including micronutrients) to function healthily.

The skin requires a constant supply of oils, and the fat-soluble vitamins they contain, to stay supple and springy. Repeated weight changes are harder for the skin to cope with if it is short of nutrients, so yo-yo dieting causes stretch-marks to appear more easily, and leaves the skin vulnerable to infection.

Specific effects will depend on the methods used to achieve the weight loss. Severe dieting causes heart problems by interfering with the availability of 'electrolyte minerals', and similar problems can affect the nerves in the skin; however, this usually only happens noticeably in severe starvation (prolonged anorexia or bulimia).

if people would exercise more they would not have to worry so darn much about food...Are you really serious about doing this? We are talking about hard work. Putting down your little debbies, getting off your butt and not only going on a diet but EXERCISING!!! Even if you lose the weight it will come right back if you do not have the desire and motivation to not only look cute but to be healthy. it is going to take alot of inner strength I can assure you of that.

1.) eat 4-5 small meals a day

2.) drink lots of water

3.)exercise every day

4.) do not eat 4-6 hours before you sleep.

Yo you dieting is just bad for your health overall. People who often lose and then gain and then lose large amounts of weight often die earlier.
