don't tip, don't go back especially if he didn't follow your specific requests or if he just decided what to do to your hair on his own. you can complain, write a letter to the owner depending on how severe the damage is. if is damaged really badly like your hair is like natalie portmans in v for vendetta then yes you may throw a hissy fit and tantrum like a four year old. but understand that hairdressers are only human too. if you see that he understands your point you may leave in peace because stretching the issue and scandalizing it will be embarrassing for the BOTH of you.

Yes, by all means. There is an old saying about haircuts: What's another name for 6 weeks? A bad haircut. Demand your money back or a free cut from someone else. Or have them purchase a certificate to a more renowned stylist in your area. It's your head and I'm sure you don't want to wear a hat all the time.

You don't necessarily have to never go back, just don't use that specific stylist again. Most salons have multiple stylists and you can probably request one. But make sure you say something so that they know they've done something wrong and so that you get some peace for what happened.

I was wondering the same thing girl....don't worry bout it. If you need to grow back some hair, I use baby shampoo by Johnson to Johnson and on the back of the shampoo bottle...it says it will actually make your hair longer and thicker at the same time....and the best part is...it works right after you use it for a couple of days. I use it and have extrememly thick and kinda long hair.

And try doing your hair in different parts so it can look uniquie and yeah.....*never go back :D

Assuming you instructed the individual on exactly what you wanted(pictures are good), ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!! If they are licensed, they should be able to tell you if your hair has the capability of doing what you want. This person was getting paid for a service that he/she did not deliver. Depending on just how bad it is, I suggest you discuss your hair with the individual. Try to find out if this person has more unsatisfied customers, do not pay and check the license to make sure they are current. Hair professional have to update their knowhow on a regular basis. Don't be shy, its your hair.

I wouldn't have a fit. But you need to calmly tell them that your not happy. Also ask to speak to the manager/owner. They might be able to fix your hair. You should also state that you won't be paying for their screw up.

I also would never go back.

Be very specific about what you want. If she does something you told her not to do, or fails to do what you specifically said to do; refuse to pay and never return. But she can't read your thoughts.

If you tell her "make it fun" or something else vague, you are equally responsible for the problem. But obvious you are not on the same page, so pay her and never return to her.

But if she did what you told her, and it turned out bad, that's all on you. Don't punish her.
