Have her find a tattoo that is a little bigger than the one she has now. She needs to be flexible on this, find one you like, let the tattoo artist make necessary changes. Don't settle for what you don't like.Even tattoo remaoval still shows signs of a tattoo. Or she could date someone else named Tim.

She needs to 'shop around' and show the design she currently has to different tattoo artists. Depending on size, newness and colors of ink, there won't be much she can do to cover it up and her options might be limited. However, a good artist will be able to get her a normal looking tattoo and it won't be cheap either.

At least she's learned her lesson to not get names tattooed on her body.

it depends on how big it is tattooed and in what color. but something like that would not be difficult to cover up if you go to the right tattooer. please tell your friend to consider not ever getting anyone's name tattooed on her body again. it really does backfire most of the time.

the best advice i can give you is to have your friend research some wonderful tattoo artists because they aren't all talented. a good artist will be able to take any ideas that your friend has and draw something completely original for her. tell your friend good luck!

i am currently getting a small all black dragon covered on my back, because it is all black i have to cover it with black. so i am getting it covered with a lava rock that will add to the scenery in my full backpiece.

Tim Sucks? Obviously she doesn't like him anymore.

But seriously, I'd try to get a tribal of some sort to try to cover it up. Can't think of any clever play on words that would work. Maybe something to do with TimE?

shop around until you find a good tattoo place. then look at pic's that will mask the old tattoo. Usually flowers, flames or vines hide old tattoo's very well. Ask the person doing the tattoo for suggestions.

i would just put a design of some sort over it, as long as it's darker than what TIm is written in, it should cover it.

Get a pic of some sort over it depending on the type of lettering. and remember for the next time never a name it spells doom for the relationship.

I would do a skull and cross bones.......whatever she is interested in thats what she should use to cover it up....like flowers, a tribal sign etc.....but make sure she really thinks about this one...so she doesn't regret this one too.
