I have been told a guy likes me but he never really talks to me that much, i think he might be shy but i'm not sure. Could he actually like me or not???

he could be real shy. i know i hate to make the first move with women a lot. actually not because i am shy - i just feel that in today's society - girls are real empowered and i feel that if two people like each other it should be mutual and the girl should let the guy know somehow that it is cool to ask her out.
even make the first move (as long as you are sure he likes you).
it is so old school to wait til the guy asks you. after years of rejection - some guys just stop - it is not worth it.
go ahead - let him know give him a sign. then if he does not ask - your friends were wrong or he is gay.

guys are like that, they're too shy to talk to a girl that they're after. especially if they think the girl is out of their league or is popular in some way. the best way to make him feel at ease for him to talk to you is to laugh a little more, but not too much otherwise he's gonna think you're crazy, and say hi to him a little more, if you haven't at all, start doing it. you can also complement him on something, for me it's usually shoes cos i love a man with good shoes, then he'll realise that you're not such a snob or unapproachable. best of luck.

it sounds to me like he is really shy, but this is the obvious thing when you find out somebody likes you! They prob don't no what to say and don't wanna say the wrong thing and make himself look silly. Why don't you approach him 1st and see how it goes from there!

There is only one way to find out.........TALK TO HIM! Feel him out for yourself. There is nothing wrong with the woman taking control of the situation. You don't have to came straight out with getting together. Just talk to him and see where that goes.
