We have 3 stallions and 2 fillies in our barn. The rest are all geldings.

Most of the stables I have worked for have more Geldings, than anything else. Stallions are too much trouble! Fillies are extremely tempermental.

I own a German Oldenburger stallion. In the stable where I keep him, there are 2 more stallions, 5 mares and 12 geldings.

We kept one stallion and about 20 or so broodmares.
We also had about 10 or so geldings. These were the racing horses.
We also kept several mares and geldings that were the kids 4-H horses and for trail riding.
