Think about it, Bush would be the "emperor" trying to make his buddies rich while the humblest among us got absolutely nothing. How do you think that would go? Would Jesus be stuck in a caged "free speech zone"?

haha. Yes I believe so. All the politicians would see him as some crazy man. The right wingers would start screaming "Liberal!" on every talk radio show they could get their voices on. This man does not believe how the "religious leaders" believe; therefore, he could not be the Son of God. Their Jesus is a judgemental, war hungry tyrrant just looking for someone to do something wrong.

What on earth does Jesus politics have to do with anything? He has told us, give Caesar what is his due and God what is his due? Though I suspect he would laugh at what passes for separation of church and state these days.

I personally believe he would be seen as somewhat of a liberal because of his emphasis on love and service to all. I base this on second hand reports of what Jesus said when he was a human here on earth. But..it could be wishful thinking on my part because I am somewhat liberal.

I seriously doubt Bush would have any authority over Jesus and even if he tried the Supreme Court would hold up the freedom of religion card.

What makes you think he would come to the United States anyway?

in case you definitely look up the circulate connection with the scripture at John 18: 6 you will see it factors to John 7:40 six the place it states "The officers spoke back: “by no skill has [yet another] guy spoken like this.” They knew he exchange into the "Christ" that's Greek for Messiah. It says not something approximately Him being God. alongside comparable lines, we ought to examine Philippians 2:9, the place the apostle Paul describes what God did after Jesus died and alter into resurrected. The verse says: "God exalted him [Jesus] to an effective place and kindly gave him the call that's above the different call." If Jesus exchange into God or equivalent to God earlier he died and God later exalted him to a greater place, could that not positioned Jesus above God? yet how ought to everybody exchange into greater suitable to God? And if he exchange into God earlier he died, how can God die? there is not any "secret" right here. Jesus is the Son of God. additionally, God consistently observed Jesus as his son, and Jesus consistently observed God as his father, exhibiting that God exchange into older and had greater authority. He additionally suggested that he got here to do God's will and not his own, exhibiting 2 wills; his father and his. 2 separate wills. in case you have chose to bypass on believing that God has 3 heads, then you relatively ought to have 3 too, given which you have been created in his image!

If Jesus came today, right-wing Republicans wouldn't even recognize him and would denounce him as a phony, because they've created their own Jesus in their minds that bears little resemblance to the scriptural Jesus.
