Extreme Home Makeovers is a great show and very emotional. Those of us with a heart cry because we love to see people get taken care of with love. We also love to see people who are down get brought back up.
The love and dedication that the design team and the community puts into those homes is above and beyond what most of us get from our own families.
That is why we cry!

I cry too and so does my husband on occasion, and he is NOT a big cryer. That show is designed to reach into your soul and rip it out

i cry too..they choose families whose stories have that effect on people. It just means you have empathy :)
