a couple of guys and my guy cousin had a plan to party on thanksgiving, drinking, music, & other things, they called me up & told me to clear my schedule coz that's the plan. &with me always busy with school & other things, I was looking forward to having fun & just letting myself go. But then yesterday, I was at a this guys house (my cousin's ex fiance) cooking & he told me that since I'm the cook in the "family" I should make the list for thanksgiving & he'll get them & I cook and we have thanks giving together. I just smiled & didn't say anything. So, I want to go to the party, but then I don't want to hurt this guys feelings by not being there& helping out. & What's even worst is that his 16 yr.old daughter is conivingly trying to hook me up with him, Which I wouldn't want, But with her, she's trying to make sure I stay there on thanksgiving, What to do, And I can't do the sit and talk to her or him, Go to party, or just forget it AND HELP THE OTHER GUY OUT

If you like this guy (the one with the daughter) you should stay and help him, it may be safer and more satisfying (at least you won't be along with him getting drunk).
Because it looks like at the party it will be just you and three guys drinking and getting drunk, no telling where that will lead. Is this a cousin by blood or marriage (If it is by marriage a lot of guys don't look at that as family)? They could be planning to pull an Amtrak (train).
I'm a Jaded ex-player, so I always get worried when I hear about one woman and three or four men, especially when drinking is involved. Just don't want you to get raped or in a position where you can't do anything if they force themselves on you. (I'm a Daddy now so I may be a little over protective).

Go to a different party..Why should you be the cook...It is awakward to be placed in a situation where someone is trying to hook you up when you don't want to be hooked up..Might make the party a drag and more of a chore than a celebraton.

It sounds to me as if you REALLY want to go to the party so call the other guy and tell him that you are sorry but other plans have come up. Good Luck.
